Join Jeff Bone, AIA (Landon Bone Baker Architects) and Neighborhood Housing Services in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood to visit the recently completed 60-unit, affordable, senior Independent living facility which includes a ground floor City of Chicago senior café that is open to the public. A ten-unit grand family facility, currently under construction, will provide housing and supportive services for low-income grandparents raising grandchildren. The project incorporates a large shared garden and green space for the residents and has a strong focus on energy efficiency and green/sustainable design. Both buildings will provide affordable senior housing options for current and longtime Roseland residents. Limited to 25 participants. Meet at the main entrance of Independent Senior Building.
