Completed in 2008, and funded by the City of Chicago Department of Housing, this gut rehab and plan reconfiguration consists of 28 units of affordable housing for single moms with kids. The units are a mix of 2, 3 & 4BR’s. A portion of the building was made accessible with the addition of a new enclosed lift and front porch which provides no step access to 4 units located on the raised first floor. New windows, perimeter wall and attic insulation, and high efficiency mechanical equipment were installed increasing the energy performance of the building.
